2 teens injured in ATV accident Thursday
Two teens from O’Fallon, Mo., were injured in an all terrain vehicle in Ozark County Thursday. According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, were traveling southbound on Missouri Route P, five miles south of Theodosia, when they traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.
Arkansas woman injured in ATV accident in Ozark Co. Wednesday night
An Arkansas woman was injured in a single-vehicle all terrain (ATV) vehicle accident Thursday night in Ozark County. According to the incident report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 50-year-old Christopher Lowery from Jefferson, Ark., was operating an ATV at the Cloud 9 Resort in Ozark County when he struck a large rock and overturned.
Man tased, arrested after high-speed pursuit; 2nd arrest in 3 days

It was the second arrest in three days for 52-year-old Gregory Hambelton of Dora, who is facing five charges for his latest run-in with the law.
Lakeview man among 3 seriously injured in Ozark County head-on crash
Photos courtesy of Tecumseh Volunteer Fire Department. Three people, a man from Lakeview and two people from Searcy, were seriously injured in a head-on crash in Ozark County Monday evening. The driver of one of the vehicles, Angela Adams of Searcy, was flown to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, while her passenger, Mark Adams of Searcy, was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains. The other driver, 24-year-old Blaine S. Tillis of Lakeview, was also taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare.
Ozark County Library’s summer reading program will be held July 9 to Aug. 6
This year’s Ozark County Volunteer Library summer reading program “Adventure Begins at your Library” kicks off Tuesday, July 9, in the basement of the library, located off Elm Street in Gainesville. The program sets reading goals for children based on age and includes a once-a-week gathering for story hour, speakers and craft activities. The program is free, and children of all ages are invited. The story hours are geared toward elementary-aged children.
