Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office identifies individuals killed in boat capsizing incident
PORT WASHINGTON — The Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office has released the names of the three individuals involved in a boat capsizing on July 15, two of which died. The deceased victims in the incident were identified as 50-year-old Brian Weinski and his girlfriend, 51-year-old Erin Hartman, both from Machesney Park, Ill. The man who survived the incident was identified as 26-year-old Karl Saladino from Beloit.

Federal prisoner charged with beating in county jail
A U.S. Marshals Service prisoner who was being housed in the Ozaukee County jail faces local charges after he severely beat another jail inmate. Jaquan A. Wright, 24, of Milwaukee, who was scheduled to appear before Ozaukee County Circuit Judge Adam Gerol for a preliminary hearing Wednesday, was charged on July 23 with battery by prisoners and substantial battery, both felonies, in connection with an April 5 incident in the county jail.
