JACKSON COUNTY—One person died in an accident just after 5p.m. Saturday in Jackson County. The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2019 Toyota Rav4 driven by Jamie Lynn Wells, 38, Topeka, was northbound on U.S. 75 three miles south of Holton. The SUV struck a 2007 Honda CRV driven by Dianna Faye Slavens, 77, Topeka, who was entering U.S. 75 from a private drive and failed to yield.
