From there, Crosby head-butted Mahomes and the Chiefs quarterback got defensive and said "I'm here." That phrase apparently entered the Raiders' vernacular this offseason and now we've arrived at Kermit Mahomes.

The Raiders mocking Patrick Mahomes with a Kermit the Frog puppet doesn’t seem smart
The Oakland Raiders really don’t seem all that concerned about trolling Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes with a specially tailored Kermit the Frog puppet. Mahomes’ AFC West rivals broke out a Kermit puppet this week at training camp that features the quarterback’s curly hair and Chiefs jersey and got big laughs out of (unsuccessfully) making it sound like Mahomes. Rookie Raiders safety Trey Taylor is the one in the video hoisting the Kermit Mahomes puppet as his teammates all laugh in the background. The Raiders have topped Mahomes in the regular season, but y’know, he’s the greatest quarterback of his generation and...

Arrowheadlines: Patrick Mahomes continues to live ‘rent free’ inside Ja’Marr Chase’s head
Key accomplishments: Three-time Super Bowl champion, three-time Super Bowl MVP, two-time NFL MVP, two-time first-team All-Pro, six-time Pro Bowler. Mahomes not only had one of the NFL’s best historical passing seasons in 2018; he did it in his first season as a starter. Mahomes that season became only the second quarterback to throw for 5,000 yards and 50 touchdowns, joining the Broncos’ Peyton Manning, who did it in 2013. Mahomes put himself on a fairly easy pace in both statistical categories with a scorching start. He had 13 touchdown passes in the first three games and threw for more than 300 yards in eight of the first nine. He had two six-touchdown games that season, and he hasn’t had one since. — Adam Teicher.
