Season Preview: In-Game Experience Leads Wheeling Football into 2024
Wheeling, W. Va. – When they entered camp for the 2023 season, the Wheeling University Football team had several players experienced in the program but new to the field. After a year of ups and downs, many of those players return to the field in 2024, having went through the grind of a full 11 week season. It is this game experience that looks to guide the Cardinals this season as they prepare for their week 0 game against Mercyhurst on Thursday, August 29th, at 7 PM.
