2 Shenandoah residents arrested on harassment charge
(Shenandoah) – Two Shenandoah residents face harassment charges following their arrest Thursday. The Page County Sheriff’s Office says deputies arrested 46-year-old Michelle Marie Carnes and 35-year-old Tyler Buck Carnes Thursday on a charge of 3rd degree harassment. The arrest stems from an incident investigated by Shenandoah Police on June 17th. A warrant was issued in the case June 24th.

PAGE COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) - A man died after swimming in Shenandoah River near Compton Rapids on Sunday, according to the Page County Sheriff’s Office. PCSO, as well as Luray and Shenandoah Fire Departments, Luray Rescue and Page County EMS, responded to a 911 call reporting a possible drowning around 4 p.m. Sunday. Witnesses shared with law enforcement that the victim was swimming, became distressed and did not resurface after going underwater.
