Michael Strahan’s daughter Isabella, 19, returns to USC with her mom after being declared cancer-free

Michael Strahan’s daughter Isabella Strahan returned to the University of Southern California this week to resume her studies after taking a leave of absence following her brain cancer diagnosis .

The 19-year-old shared a Boomerang video of herself winking at the camera while standing next to her mom, Jean Muggli, on her Instagram Story Tuesday.

Isabella, who lost her hair from chemotherapy treatments , looked happy and healthy in jean shorts and a white tank top.

“Back at USC,” she wrote over the selfie-style post in the university’s signature red and gold colors.

The model revealed in July that she was cancer-free after battling the disease for nearly a year.

“Everything was clear,” she said of her final scan.

“Cancer-free and everything is great. I don’t have another doctor’s appointment until October.”

In light of the news, Isabella announced she would be pausing her YouTube vlog, which documented her health journey, including the numerous brain surgeries she had to have as well as candid photos from her lengthy stay in the hospital.

In her June 16 video, the teen showed herself ringing the Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center bell three times to celebrate the end of her cancer journey while surrounded by family and staff, who cheered her on with Kool & the Gang’s “Celebration.”

Isabella, who is the daughter of Muggli and Michael, was diagnosed with medulloblastoma in October 2023 and subsequently underwent emergency surgery.

The “Good Morning America” co-anchor, 52, has been by his daughter’s side throughout her battle with brain cancer and lauded her as a “superwoman” when she completed chemo.

“@isabellastrahan you are a SUPERWOMAN!” he captioned an Instagram post. “Ringing that bell finishing chemo and on your way!”
