    Angelina Jolie puts her famous pout on display in new Tom Ford lipstick campaign: ‘The original lip queen’

    If lips could kill.

    Angelina Jolie thrilled fans when she was announced as the face of Tom Ford’s new lipstick campaign on Instagram Friday morning — and she brought her signature full lips to work in the stunning photos.

    The human rights advocate, 49, wears Tom Ford’s Runway Lip Color ($62) in Scarlet Rouge in the ads, giving the camera a serious pout in the shot shared on social media.

    She styles her hair in a sleek blowout in the pic, wearing a sleeveless black dress as she lounges on a red leather sofa.

    “Always iconic. Introducing Angelina Jolie for the new TOM FORD Runway Lip Color in a campaign that brings together two icons,” the brand wrote in its post.

    Tom Ford Beauty called Jolie “an inveterate trailblazer,” continuing that the Oscar winner “drives her personal narrative with strength, confidence and an uncompromising commitment to self-expression.”

    The Atelier Jolie founder also appears in a second ultra-close-up shot featuring a cropped-in photo of her pouty red lips partially covered by her hair.

    In a press release, Tom Ford Beauty announced the full campaign — snapped by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott — will launch September 3 and show “Jolie studying for a role, a character that loves the camera almost as much as it loves her.”

    According to the brand, its “formula is crafted with a hydrating complex that conditions lips in decadent emollience and rich, fade-resistant color,” with eight new shades launching in September.

    Fans went wild for Friday’s announcement, with one commenting, “The most iconic lip that has ever existed ❤️ and it’s natural.”

    “The original lip 👄 queen 👸” another social media user proclaimed, while a third wrote, “She has the best lips in the world 🌏.”

    While it has been some time since we’ve seen Jolie in a modeling role, she’s been busy creating her new Atelier Jolie brand , with Tom Ford Beauty praising her efforts in “empowering people to participate in creating their own fashion, with a focus on sustainability.”
