It seems Carrie Bradshaw has been shopping her iconic closet.
On Wednesday, Sarah Jessica Parker, 59, was spotted on set of “And Just Like That” in NYC, filming a scene for the show’s third season in a familiar, decades-old top.
The Chanel design, which features abstract splashes of color, heart graphics, and the brand’s iconic double-C logo, first popped up in on the “Sex and the City” episode titled “Hot Child in the City” in 2000.
While Carrie leaned into Y2K style the first time around, pairing the sheer, long-sleeved blouse with tie-dye capri pants, a turquoise bandana, floral embellished heels, and a purple purse, costume designers Molly Rogers and Danny Santiago went a more elevated route for 2024.
For Wednesday’s scene, Parker could be seen chatting the phone, rocking the breezy Chanel design with a coordinating purple maxi skirt and yellow strappy heels.
She also skipped any hair accessories, wearing her long blond curls in a classic half-up, half-down ‘do.
So far, Season 3 of the HBO Max series is shaping up to be just as bold and fashion-forward as the previous installments.
Aside from Carrie rewearing clothes from yesteryear, Parker has been seen stepping out in multiple jaw-dropped combinations, including a sheer Simone Rocha coat and corset dress that was stuffed with long-stem roses.
While the underwear-baring look had fans in a tizzy, with many pointing that if Carrie’s “bra isn’t showing she isn’t living,” it’s far from the only quirky ensemble the character will be wearing.
In May, SJP took to Instagram to share her outfit from “Day 6” of filming, which included an oversized, gingham bonnet and poufy multi-colored dress.
Commenters called the accessory “unhinged” and quickly drew comparisons to cartoon and fairytale characters, such as Strawberry Shortcake and Little Miss Muffet.
However, the ensemble did hint that throwback fashion would be a common thread throughout the season. The “Hocus Pocus” actress could also be seen wearing Dr. Scholl’s slides ($120) with the look, which were similar to a style she sported on the original series.
Keep the old school outfits coming, Carrie!
