Shortly after, around 4 a.m. on the morning of July 5, a concerned local notified police that they heard a loud noise near North Sea Mecox Road and were worried someone was hurt.
When officers arrived, the person who crashed was not on the scene, but law enforcement found a damaged fence, sign and a license plate that had been left behind.
Page Six exclusively reported Wednesday that Southhampton Town police were able to identify Romy as the driver who had fled the accident because the plate belonged to her Jeep Wrangler.

The young woman, whom Matt shares with his ex-wife Annette Roque, was issued a summons for leaving the scene of the crime, cops confirmed to us.
Five days after the crash, Romy was back on TikTok posting more videos.
