Angelina Jolie set “firm boundaries” and declined to discuss her divorce from Brad Pitt in a new interview.

Although the days of Brangelina came to an end when the couple split eight years ago, the actress is still “trying to get used to what to share” regarding her divorce.

“You could have this messy private process and the work spoke,” Jolie said of “old Hollywood” during a mid-August interview with The Hollywood Reporter . “Now, the audience’s relationship is different.”

Later in the interview, conducted at the 49-year-old’s home in Los Angeles , Jolie was asked if she would be willing to discuss the details of her contentious divorce from Pitt, but she continued to put up her guard.

“No,” she said to the reporter. The “Fight Club” actor and Jolie were married from 2014 until she filed to divorce the 60-year-old in 2016. Eight years later, their divorce proceedings remain ongoing.

The mother of six, however, did reveal that she only remains in Los Angeles due to her divorce from Pitt.

“I grew up in this town. I am here because I have to be here from a divorce, but as soon as they’re 18, I’ll be able to leave,” Jolie said, referencing their brood. “When you have a big family, you want them to have privacy, peace, safety.”

Jolie, who shares six children with Pitt – Maddox, 23, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, along with twins Knox and Vivienne, 16 – then went on to explain that Los Angeles is no longer what it once was to her.

“I have a house now to raise my children, but sometimes this place can be … that humanity that I found across the world is not what I grew up with here,” she confessed.

Once her youngest kiddos fly the nest, the starlet plans to travel the world and visit loved ones. “I’ll spend a lot of time in Cambodia,” Jolie shared. “I’ll spend time visiting my family members wherever they may be in the world.”

Jolie’s new film, “Maria,” premiered at the Venice International Film Festival on Thursday, strategically scheduled at a time that would circumvent any awkward run-ins with Pitt, who is also abroad.

“Angelina will be [here] on the first day, on Thursday, and she will leave right after with [‘Maria’ director] Pablo Larraín,” Venice artistic director Alberto Barbera told Vanity Fair ahead of the festival.

“So Brad will arrive only on Saturday, to Venice,” he added. “There is no way that they can cross each other at the Lido [island where the fest takes place].”

In “Maria,” Jolie stars as late opera singer Maria Callas. In order to execute the role, she revealed that she had to go through “many months” of singing classes.

“Months of just getting the singing down and then the Italian classes and then the voice and doing all these things like her,” Jolie said during the interview with THR. “You try to be precise.”

Meanwhile, Pitt will be at the film festival this weekend to premiere his and George Clooney’s film “Wolfs” on Sept. 1.

This sick woman should be ashamed of yourself. You are the classic example if parental alienation. May shame come to you every waking day of your life. PATHETIC excuse for a parent.
