Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright awkwardly avoid each other on ‘Valley’ set after divorce filing

Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright awkwardly kept their distance from one another as they filmed “The Valley” together on Friday — just days after she filed for divorce .
Photos and video obtained by Page Six Saturday show the cast having a field day, which included going zorbing, a recreational sport that involves rolling downhill inside a giant plastic sphere.
TMZ reported that Cartwright, 35, appeared to be in an upbeat, carefree mood while her estranged husband, 45, seemed to be in a “funk.”

They were reportedly trying to stay away from each other, as an eyewitness said a friend guided the mother of one away from Taylor when she unknowingly got too close.
Another source told TMZ that Taylor could be overheard telling co-star Kristen Doute that he checked into rehab in July because he was “going out of control.”
Page Six has reached out to the former couple’s rep for comment but did not immediately hear back.

TMZ reported earlier this week that Taylor was served the divorce papers while filming the new season of “The Valley” at his and Cartwright’s sports bar, Jax’s Studio City.
A pal reportedly pulled Cartwright away when she got a bit too close to her estranged husband. They can be seen far apart in a group setting in the above snapshot from Friday. Cartwright has asked for sole legal and physical custody of Cruz in her court filing but said she wants her fellow “Vanderpump Rules” alum to have visitation rights.
She listed their official date of separation as Jan. 24, 2024, one day before her birthday.
