Tyrese Gibson was arrested in court Monday morning for failing to pay ex-wife Samantha Lee child support.
According to TMZ, the “Fast & Furious” actor – who shares 5-year-old daughter Soraya with Lee – appeared before Judge Kevin Farmer in a Fulton County, Ga., courtroom for his ongoing child support battle with his ex.
Over the weekend, Gibson warned his fans that he may be apprehended during the child support hearing and accused Judge Farmer and his ex’s legal team of colluding against him.
“We are APPEALLING ALL OF HIS RULINGS AND ALREADY HAVE TRIED TO GET THIS JUDGE THROWN OFF THE BENCH TWICE….. The second time we tried to get him recused from the bench. [ He actually denied his own request to be thrown off the bench] …imagine that???” the “Sweet Lady” singer added.
Gibson then urged media outlets, including The Post, to file for media access to “see what Judge Farmer has in mind” for him.
“It’s pretty clear that they hate my guts, but I must remind them and everything about my life and my success. I’ve worked my ass off since I was 14 years old to get here,” he wrote.
He is also dad to daughter Shayla, 17, with ex-wife Norma Mitchell, whom he was married to from 2007 to 2009.
In May, Mitchell filed a lawsuit against the R&B crooner for defaming her and publicly disclosing private information about her and their teen daughter Shayla on social media.
