Megan Thee Stallion re-created Britney Spears’ iconic VMAs “I’m a Slave 4 U” outfit at the 2024 show — live snake and all.

The “WAP” rapper, who hosted the MTV Video Music Awards Wednesday night at UBS Arena in Elmont, NY, changed several times throughout the evening.

However, her most notable ensemble paid homage to the Princess of Pop herself.

At one point, cameras panned over to the 29-year-old hip-hop star, who was standing in a section of the audience.

She was dressed in a chartreuse wrap bra with a huge sparkly broach in the center, metallic booty shorts with bright blue sheer fabric panels dangling from the sides, bedazzled suede tan boots, tons of body jewelry and an albino python worn like a shawl.

As Spears’ 2001 hit played in the background, a panic-stricken Megan said into the mic she was holding, “OK! OK! Stop the music! Stop the music! I’m just playing! Come get this thing! I don’t know this thing; this thing don’t know me.”

A handler immediately entered the shot and carefully unwrapped the snake from the musician’s frozen body.

Though she managed to stay still for most of the removal, Megan eventually let out a scream and darted away from both the man and the reptile.

She smiled nervously and fixed her hair as she paced for a few seconds before reclaiming her composure.

“I tried to hold it down for Britney!” Megan told the cheering audience.

Despite Spears’ sexy, calm demeanor during the legendary performance at the September 2001 show, she admitted last year that the experience was both memorable and terrifying.

“One of my favorite performances was with an albino python,” the singer, 42, posted via X (formerly Twitter) in September 2023, adding, “I still remember how scared I felt when I was handed this snake and took the stage!!!”

The 2024 VMAs were full of homages, including Tate McRae’s re-creation of Spears’ sheer lace minidress, which the latter wore on the red carpet the same year as her snake performance. Perhaps Megan and Tate will link up later tonight.
