From the black carpet to the epic performances, the Video Music Awards 2024 was an eventful night. Astra and Senior reporter Eileen Reslen, who was at the show, recap the night’s highlights. Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom didn’t hold back on the PDA at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards as she accepted the Video Vanguard Award . Perry’s performance had everyone up and dancing, including Taylor Swift, who later thanked boyfriend Travis Kelce while accepting the award for video of the year.
