Holland Taylor, 81, and Sarah Paulson, 49, turn Emmys 2024 into a date night

Television’s biggest night is also the perfect date night.

Holland Taylor and Sarah Paulson walked the red carpet together while attending the 76th annual Emmy Awards on Sunday.

The “Two and a Half Men” alum, 81, and the “American Horror Story” star, 49, kept close as they posed for photographers at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

At one point, they showed a fleeting moment of PDA when Paulson sweetly put her hand on Taylor’s back.

The “Ratched” star looked chic in a blue gown with a black and cream lining and sparkling earrings by Marco Bicego. She was nominated for outstanding guest actress in a drama series for her role in “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.”

Meanwhile, the “Practice” alum — who was nominated for outstanding supporting actress in a drama series for “The Morning Show” — rocked a cream pantsuit adorned with two silver broaches on its lapels.

The couple has been dating since 2015 and often speak highly about each other.

Sarah Paulson says secret to long-term relationship with Holland Taylor is living in separate houses

Earlier this year, Paulson divulged that the secret to their lasting love is living in separate homes .

“Holland and I, we spend plenty of time together, but we don’t live in the same house,” she said in a May episode of the “Smartless” podcast. “We’ve been together for a long time now, and I think part of it has to do with, we’re together when we wanna be and we’re not when we don’t.”

She added that they “like to fall asleep holding hands” when they do spend the night together.

Taylor shared a similar sentiment in November 2023, telling Page Six that she and her partner do things separately “so everyone gets to be true to what they believe.”

“She’s much more social, and I like a little bit of alone time, so I have that. She spends some time with friends and not with me, so it’s a good balance,” the “Hollywood” star said.

Despite their deep love for each other, Taylor admitted in August that she does not see them getting married .

“We’ve never talked about it with any interest,” she said on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM show, noting that she has concerns over their “big generational difference.”

“A lot of the things that she is going through that are very emotionally important to her right now, I went through 30 years ago or 40 years ago,” Taylor said at the time of their 31-year age gap .
