“It’s been rough for her. Her mind is not on her marriage though,” a source told People Thursday after the Foo Fighters frontman broke the news to the public nearly a month ago.
“She doesn’t trust Dave. She’s not wearing her wedding ring,” the insider added.
“She’s leaning on a group of girlfriends. She feels lucky to be surrounded by love and support.”
The source said Blum — who shares daughters Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10, with Grohl — “is focused on her own life and her girls.”
On Sept. 10, the dad of four shocked his fans with news that he welcomed a love child.
“I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” he wrote on Instagram at the time.
“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”
The former Nirvana drummer, 55, did not disclose any information about his newborn’s mother in his post.
Since the news, Grohl has been keeping a low profile.
His band, the Foo Fighters, canceled their show at the Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, Conn., meant to take place on Sept. 27.
In the photos, the “Pretender” musician visited a Los Angeles Spirit of Halloween store — sans his wedding band — to grab decorations for the forthcoming spooky holiday.
And People reported that his flirtatious behavior toward other women was reportedly “hurtful” to his wife — even before the mistress was brought to her attention.
“Dave’s flirty behavior has been a hurdle in their marriage,” an insider told the outlet last month. “It’s been hurtful to Jordyn.”
In fact, the news of Grohl having a baby outside of his marriage did not come as a shock to his and Blum’s close friends.
