Travis Kelce reflected on his birthday after turning 35 without Taylor Swift by his side.
“It’s Travis’ birthday episode,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s brother, Jason Kelce, joked in Wednesday’s episode of their “New Heights” podcast , to which Travis replied, “This is not. My birthday has already passed. Don’t bring my birthday up like it’s a part of this episode.”
Jason, 36, disagreed, reminding his younger sibling that his birthday was just last Saturday.
“You turned 35. That’s a big birthday,” the former Philadelphia Eagles center said. “Everybody knows every time there’s a five or a zero at the end, it’s a milestone birthday.”
Travis argued that “nobody’s ever said that,” but Jason pressed him to reflect on getting older.
“What does it feel like to turn 35 and still wear a Perkis Power shirt?” the retired NFL star asked, referring to the tee featuring Tony Perkis (Ben Stiller) from the 1995 movie “Heavyweights” that his sibling was wearing.
“It feels like I’m the fattest kid at camp,” Travis joked.
The Kelces burst out into laughter, with Jason saying, “Congratulations, Mr. Kelce. You are now the fattest tight end in the NFL.”
Travis commemorated his 35th birthday by hosting his Kelce Car Jam charity event in Kansas City, Mo.
Travis also confirmed that Swift would show up to his next game, which she did Monday at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo., to cheer for the football player against the New Orleans Saints.
The singer-songwriter was also seen linking up with Brittany Mahomes , who was in the stands supporting her husband, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
