Community gives feedback at Capitol Connector Project meeting
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - A safety project is in the planning stages, and a public meeting held Thursday was aimed at getting feedback. The Capitol Connector Project calls for improving the commuter trails along the Kanawha Boulevard with some infrastructure upgrades including: expanding the pedestrian pathway, lighting upgrades, and enhancing crosswalks.

CAMC announces Shelda Martin as new Chief Medical Officer
Shelda Martin, MD, has been promoted to Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Vice President for Medical Affairs after serving as the interim CMO for the last six months. Dr. Martin is a graduate of the West Virginia University School of Medical Technology and School of Medicine. She completed an internal medicine internship and residency at CAMC, including serving as the chief resident.

Writer/director Kent Allen is on the lookout for locals interested in various levels of filmmaking to help with his project set in the Sweet Springs Resort Park.
