CAMC announces Shelda Martin as new Chief Medical Officer
Shelda Martin, MD, has been promoted to Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Vice President for Medical Affairs after serving as the interim CMO for the last six months. Dr. Martin is a graduate of the West Virginia University School of Medical Technology and School of Medicine. She completed an internal medicine internship and residency at CAMC, including serving as the chief resident.
Sweet Springs mystery-film project looks to add local talent
Writer/director Kent Allen is on the lookout for locals interested in various levels of filmmaking to help with his project set in the Sweet Springs Resort Park. Sweet Springs has been the site of many exciting things like historic events, paranormal investigations, and community activities. This fall it will be one of the filming locations for P27: The Series, a tense drama/mystery/thriller set in a psychiatric faculty.
