    Twisted Soul Cookhouse & Pours

Twisted Soul Cookhouse & Pours on Atlanta’s Westside from classically trained chef Deborah VanTrece perfectly blends casual and fine dining. On the menu, you can expect delicious Southern creations like the Southern Marinated Fried Chicken, the Hoisin Oxtails, a Creole Butter Chicken, and a Mole Sous Vide Short Rib. For dessert, you’ll definitely want to try Twisted Soul’s Sticky Pecan Bread Pudding, Baked Sweet Potato Cheesecake, or a classic Peach Cobbler.

    The Busy Bee Cafe

The Busy Bee Cafe on Atlanta’s Westside has been in business since self-taught cook Lucy Jackson opened the restaurant in 1947. The restaurant is seemingly always packed, so be ready for a crowd and a wait. The Busy Bee Cafe is most known for its fried chicken and delicious Southern sides, such as mac n’ cheese, cornbread dressing, and collard greens.

    Swan Coach House

Located behind the Atlanta History Center, the Swan Coach House used to be the old couch house of the famous Swan House mansion. Now, the building is home to an art gallery, gift shop, and one of the best Southern restaurants in the city. It’s a popular ladies luncheon spot, perfect for a girls’ day or a bridal party. Friends and families have been coming here for generations for their famous chicken salad inside heart-shaped cups, cheese straws, and the adorably swan-shaped Swan’s Silk Pie.
