    The AJC Peachtree Road Race will return to the Fourth of July weekend this year for the 52nd annual edition of the 10 kilometer race. The race is planned for two days this year. Runners and walkers around the world can also participate in the race virtually.

    July 3, 2021 through July 4, 2021 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

    17 Baseball invites guests to enjoy a weekend of baseball and a top-notch tournament experience. Attending teams will include the Smyrna Slammers and Gwinnett Bandits among others. Admission costs $8 for adults, $5 for kids ages 7-12 and seniors, and free for kids 6 and under.

    Marietta Fourth of July Parade, Festival, and Fireworks

    July 3, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

    The City of Marietta is holding its annual Fourth of July Parade, Festival, and Fireworks featuring a parade in the morning with more than 30 floats and 2,000 participants, and a festival with food, arts and crafts, games, and concerts throughout the day. Fireworks will take place at dark (around 9:30 p.m.). Admission to this event is free.

    Tucker Parks & Recreation Pool Party

    July 4, 2021 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

    Tucker Parks & Recreation is holding its annual Pool Party on the 4th of July this year. The event will feature music, free hotdogs, a watermelon eating contest, and a cannonball contest. Admission costs $5 for ages 12 and up, $3 for children 3-11, free for ages 2 and under, and $3 for seniors 55+ and military veterans.
