Epicurean Atlanta, Midtown's forthcoming food- and beverage-focused hotel, has plans for a resort-style rooftop restaurant and bar, as well as the neighboring lobby lounge of the development’s office tower at Selig Development’s mixed-use project 1105 West Peachtree.
Epicurean Atlanta is the second location of the Epicurean Hotel brand. The hotel occupies one of three towers located at 1105 West Peachtree and is connected to the 31-story office tower and the 64-unit luxury condo tower, 40 West 12th, by the Sky Terrace. The hotel is an immersive, culinary-driven concept that celebrates the flavors that life has to offer. Epicurean Atlanta’s culinary and hospitality programs are overseen by Executive Chef Ewart Wardhaugh and the hotel’s General Manager, Marc Bauer.
Aerial Kitchen & Bar will be immersed in Atlanta’s skyline located in the heart of the lush garden setting on the ninth level of Sky Terrace. The sprawling oasis is inspired by Greek philosopher and the hotel’s namesake Epicurus who believed that the garden was a symbol of tranquil pleasure.
The bar is poised to be Midtown’s premier outdoor dining destination, with a casual atmosphere that blends modern textures and industrial materials with brick and warm rose copper metal accents, a dimensional tile front bar, sleek concrete countertops, and warm gray and blush colored cushioned seating.
As a resort-style rooftop restaurant, Aerial Kitchen & Bar will offer hotel pool guests and surrounding high-rise residents and office occupants the opportunity to enjoy signature cocktails and seasonal bites while basking in the open-air destination. The menu will feature globally-influenced flavors and light cuisine such as salads, small bites, and dishes showcasing regional ingredients. The cocktail menu will feature expertly crafted cocktails infused with fresh herbs and juices.
Aerial Kitchen & Bar will be open daily with private poolside cabana service available to hotel guests and will be the perfect spot for guests to enjoy the midday sun or an evening sunset.
Epicurean Atlanta will open in late summer 2021 and will reflect an urban foodie and wine-lover’s paradise. The hotel will feature 178 guest rooms, including 22 spacious suites, along with 11,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor adaptable space for meetings and events.
Travelers will enjoy amenities such as the Sky Terrace and its sweeping views, a gorgeous events lawn, and the Epicurean Theatre where guests can watch, listen, and learn from a curated lineup of chefs, winemakers, mixologists, and artists.
In addition to the Aerial Kitchen & Bar, guests will be able to enjoy the property’s signature restaurant, Reverence, as well as The Office Bar, a vibrant workspace and lounge for casual meetings, collaborative lunches, and pre-dinner cocktails.
The hotel is currently taking reservations for stays beginning September 26 and onward.
