    Celebrate America Festival, Sweet Summer Nights

    Valdosta, Georgia

    Event Dates: now through July 29, 2022

    Commemorate America's independence at Wild Adventures theme park with fun activities, nightly fireworks on July 1-4, 15, 22, and 29, and extended hours with games and special events on July 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29. Don't miss the Harlem Globetrotters on July 8-10.

    Fantastic Fourth Celebration at Stone Mountain Park

    Stone Mountain, Georgia

    Event Dates: July 1, 2022 through July 5, 2022

    The Fantastic Fourth Celebration at Memorial Lawn at Stone Mountain Park features a special fireworks display following the Lasershow Spectacular every night from July 1 to July 5. Enjoy a full day of family fun with attractions and live entertainment during the day before the show.

    Liberty Day Celebration

    Cave Springs, Georgia

    Event Date: July 2, 2022

    Enjoy a 5K run, an Independence Day re-enactment, craft and food vendors, Liberty Day pageants, a concert, and fireworks at this pre-Fourth of July celebration.

    Sautee Summer Music Fest

    Sautee Nacoochee, Georgia

    Event Dates: July 2, 9, and 16, 2022 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

    For four Saturdays June through July, you can catch different concerts on the outdoor stage and enjoy food and drinks on the lawn. In July, see Ryan LittleEagle, Elliott Sperin, and Wyatt Espalin. Concerts cost $12 for non-members, $10 for members, and free for students.

    Ida Cox Music Festival

    Toccoa, Georgia

    Event Dates: July 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30, 2022 at 7 p.m.

    Named after the legendary "Uncrowned Queen of Blues" and Toccoan native this free music festival takes place every Saturday in June, July, and August. In July, see Edgar Loudermilk, Vintage Vixens, Eddie RAy Arnold, Radford Windham, and Maggie Valley Band. There will be beer, wine, food, and fun.

    AJC Peachtree Road Race

    Atlanta, Georgia

    Event Dates: July 3, 2022 through July 4, 2022

    The AJC Peachtree Road Race will return to the Fourth of July weekend this year for the 53rd annual edition of the 10 kilometer race. Those aged 6-14 can run the Peachtree Junior race on July 3, and the main event Peachtree Road Race will take place on July 4. There is also still a virtual option that is open to everyone.

    St. Marys Independence Day Festival

    St. Marys, Georgia

    Event Date: July 4, 2022

    Enjoy a parade, fireworks at dust, a 5K and 10K run, food, arts and crafts, and entertainment at this Fourth of July festival.

    41st Annual Bartow County "Tough Enough To Wear Pink" Championship Rodeo

    Cartersville, Georgia

    Event Dates: July 8, 2022 through July 9, 2022

    This annual rodeo supports breast cancer awareness and features bareback bronco riding, steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing, and bull riding.

    Southeast Hollows Haunt Convention

    Savannah, Georgia

    Event Dates: July 29, 2022 through July 31, 2022

    Head to America's most haunted city for this haunters convention. Fit for the haunt enthusiast, home haunter, and professional haunters alike, this convention will feature actors, makeup artists, magicians, performances by Dead City Collective, a masquerade ball, a Halloween fashion show, seminars and classes, and more.
