Three arrested in Paintsville burglary
Three men were arrested on burglary and other charges after Kentucky State Police received a call of a burglary in Paintsville. KSP Troopers Matt Smith and Ryan Hall responded Dec, 20 at 7:13 p.m. to a residence on Cactus Road. Upon their arrival, two males, later identified as Danny Vanhoose, 41, of Main Camp, Thealka, and Charles E. Hall, 50, of U.S. 460, Staffordsville, fled into the woods and a nearby field, according to the arrest report.

Women face more charges after indictment warrants served
Additional charges were filed against two Johnson County women who were arrested on indictment warrants by Kentucky State Police Dec. 19. In the first incident, Danielle Robertson, 37, of Paintsville, was arrested on an outstanding Johnson County Grand Jury indictment and transported to the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center, where she was searched by staff, who found methamphetamine in her possession, according to the arrest citation.
