Tourism commission approves budgets for new fiscal year
The Paintsville Tourism Commission approved its budgets for the upcoming fiscal year during its regular meeting June 17. The commission's budget for the 2024-2025 fiscal year totals $1,347,000 while the spending plans for the Paintsville Lake Historical Association, which oversees the Mountain HomePlace, and the Country Music Highway Museum are $150,000 and $100,000, respectively.
Paintsville City Council approves budget for FY2025, salaries increasing for most departments
During a special called meeting on June 17, the Paintsville City Council adopted its working budget for Fiscal Year 2025, with a projected increase of revenues of approximately $500,000. This would bring the city’s projected revenues up from approximately $11,005,698 in FY 2024 to approximately $11,563,780 in FY 2025.
