Unfortunately, there will not be a newsletter this Monday as I will be recovering from having three of my wisdom teeth pulled out.
That means by the time you're reading this I'm probably already loopy on medications and am either in the middle of the procedure or about to go into it! Wish me luck!

Ball State PBS has been airing "Now Entering..." since 2016, a show dedicated to telling the stories of small towns throughout Indiana.
In March, the program featured Hagerstown, and now feature the city of Richmond, the first two stops of the show's journey through Wayne County.
Producers of the show were here at Morrisson-Reeves Library last month to interview community members and historians, and the episode will be coming out in early June.

🎢 Your guide to weekend fun!
- 📚 Stop by the Morrisson-Reeves Library in Richmond this weekend for its book sale! From 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, attendees can purchase books, DVDs, CDs, puzzles and games for $1 each, while paperback books, VHS tapes and record albums are 50 cents each. There will be DVD and book sets also on sale starting at $2 and up. Did I mention that each child ages 0 to 18 that attends will receive a free book?
- 🏃♀️🏃♂️ This Saturday at Glen Miller Park, the Run to Save 5K/10K will begin with runner check-in at 8 a.m. and the race will start at 8:30 a.m. The event is a charity event to raise funds for National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and to raise awareness on suicide prevention and mental health. The online signup link is closed but there will be on-site registration starting at 7:30 a.m. Participants are asked to give a $25 donation and more info can be found here.
- 💃🎤 This Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m., The Reid Center and Amigos will be hosting "Fiesta Mexicana" presented by two-time GRAMMY-nominated Sones de Mexico Ensemble. A free 45-minute interactive concert for kids and parents, the concert includes seven or eight songs and interactive games in between that can be in English and Spanish. More information on the event can be found here. Earlier in the day, The Reid Center will also be presenting "A Musical and Culinary Geography of Mexico from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., with Sones De Mexico Ensemble and award-winning chef Dudley Nieto.
