According to a release from UT Tyler, Javier Alejandro Deluna attends The University of Texas at Tyler University Academy – Palestine, where he participates in several extracurricular activities. He was named a 2024 Envision by WorldStrides scholar and went to the National Youth Leadership Forum: Pathways to STEM program.

“Javier’s hard work, dedication and positive attitude made him an exemplary student who will undoubtedly continue to achieve great things in the future,” Shelly Parsons, interim campus director, said.

The organization reportedly provides students that are nominated the opportunity to turn their career and life aspirations into reality.

“I would like to thank my instructors and director for choosing me to take part in this phenomenal journey,” Deluna said. “I am eager and open minded to encounter new experiences and have become somewhat of a trailblazer with this opportunity.”
