Rory McIlroy’s soon-to-be ex-wife missed a deadline to respond to the Nothern Irish golfer’s divorce petition, according to a new report.

The Palm Beach County Clerk’s office confirmed that Erica Stoll missed Sunday’s deadline and has not filed anything at all, the Daily Mail reported.

With Stoll, 36, having not responded, the court could grant McIlroy a default divorce and that would mean that the proceedings would be able to continue without the defaulted party participating.

Stoll was served the divorce papers at her Florida home on May 13, days before the PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville was set to begin.

In the court filing last month, McIlroy characterized the marriage as “irretrievably broken,”

The filing also revealed the couple had a prenup that asked for split custody of the couple’s 3-year-old daughter, Poppy.

Stoll was served the divorce papers by a private investigator at the family’s home in Jupiter, Florida, court documents obtained by The Belfast Telegraph revealed last month.

Carl Woods — a former Palm Beach police officer, who now runs a private practice, CW Services & Associates – served Stoll the papers at 10:30 a.m. on May 13.

McIlroy had signed the divorce documents on May 9 while he was playing in the Wells Fargo Championship.

The documents Stoll was served with did warn that she had 20 days to respond.

“A phone call will not protect you,” the summons read. “Your written response, including the case number given above and the names of the parties, must be filed if you want the court to hear your side of the case.

How is he gonna do split custody? Have his Momma or next girlfriend keep his daughter while he travels the world playing golf! If he gets split custody, the judge should mandate when he has his daughter he can’t play in a golf tournament …….period! Might make him rethink split custody! 🙄🤦‍♀️
