It's been quite a week for Tyreek Hill , which started with him being detained by police before Sunday's Miami Dolphins game. Will the star wide receiver play in tonight's game against the Buffalo Bills ?

Hill spoke with reporters Wednesday about the incident, saying he was "choked, pinched, kicked" by Miami-Dade police during a traffic stop outside Hard Rock Stadium hours before the Dolphins ' first game of the season. During the stop, Hill could be heard on bodycam video shouting that he'd just gotten knee surgery as police were forcing him to the ground.

“It was crazy,” Hill said. "I thought I was in a movie. … I'm like, damn, is this really happening?"

The star wideout said Danny Torres , the officer who was moved to administrative duties after the incident, has "gotta go," not only for the way he was treated, but also for the treatment of teammates Calais Campbell and Jonnu Smith, who arrived as the scene was unfolding to try and calm things down. He did say he wished he'd handled some things differently.

"I have family members who are cops, we've had conversations," Hill said. "Yes, I will say I could have been better, I could have let down my window in that moment. But at the end of the day, I wish I could go back and do things a bit differently.”

    Is Tyreek Hill playing tonight?

In short, yes. Tyreek Hill was able to play in Sunday's game hours after being detained, making seven catches for 130 yards, including an 80-yard touchdown catch. He celebrated the play by pretending to be handcuffed by teammate Jaylen Waddle.

Here's a recap of everything that's happened since Sunday morning:

Why did Tyreek Hill get pulled over? What happened?

Tyreek Hill was pulled over outside Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday morning before the Dolphins' game vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars . Officers said Hill was driving recklessly, and during the stop, Hill rolled up the tinted windows on his McLaren 720S.

The window situation seemed to be what set police off. Bodycam footage showed police forcibly removing Hill from his car as he called Drew Brooks , Dolphins head of security. Video shows an officer forcing Hill to lie face-first on the pavement while being handcuffed, and later forcing him via chokehold to sit on the curb.

Dolphins teammates Jonnu Smith and Calais Campbell, a former Walter Payton Man of the Year winner for his work in the community, approached police and got into confrontations themselves. Campbell was also handcuffed, while Smith was issued a citation. About 15 minutes later, all players were let go.

Hill was cited with reckless driving and a seatbelt violation. He owed about $300 in fines for the citations.

Tyreek Hill injury: What was his knee surgery?

While Tyreek Hill was being forcibly taken to the ground, he could be heard telling officers about his recovering knee, leading to concerns from fans about his injury status.

Hill said Wednesday the surgery he alluded to was a stem cell treatment he got in Antigua during the offseason. He is not listed on the injury report ahead of Thursday's game against the Bills .

How fast was Tyreek Hill going when he was pulled over?

Copies of the police citation were released Tuesday, showing Hill was driving about 60 mph . The speed limit outside Hard Rock Stadium where Hill was stopped is 40 mph.

Who is Danny Torres? Miami police officer placed on 'administrative duties'

The Miami-Dade Police Department released the name of the officer placed on administrative duties as Danny Torres , a 27-year police veteran. In the bodycam videos of Hill's detainment, Torres has been identified as the officer with a black compression shirt under his uniform.

Torres is listed as a representative of the South Florida Police Benevolent Association , the union that represents Miami-Dade police. The SFPBA has backed Torres' actions, saying Hill was "uncooperative."

On Tuesday, attorneys representing Torres said in a news release that he should be returned to his regular duties while the internal affairs investigation continues. "We call for our client’s immediate reinstatement, and a complete, thorough, and objective investigation, as (Miami-Dade police) Director (Stephanie) Daniels has also advocated," the release states. "Our client will not comment until this investigation is concluded and the facts are fully revealed."

Tuesday night, Hill's attorney, Julius Collins, released a statement demanding Torres' firing "effective immediately." This follows earlier statements by Hill's agent, Drew Rosenhaus , saying Hill was considering litigation. Hill himself reiterated that sentiment Wednesday, telling reporters the officer should be "gone."

“Gone,” Hill said. “He gotta go, man. Because in that instant right there, not only did he treat me bad, he also treated my teammates with disrespect. He had some crazy words towards them and they ain't even do nothing, like what do they do to you? They just walking on the sidewalk."

Who is Drew Brooks? Tyreek Hill called director of Dolphins team security

When Tyreek Hill was pulled out of his car, bodycam video showed him talking to someone named Drew. "Hey, Drew, I'm getting arrested!" Hill can be heard shouting. "I'm getting arrested, Drew!" When teammate Jonnu Smith approached, Hill again asked him to "call Drew, call Drew."

Many people thought Hill was talking about his agent, Drew Rosenhaus. But it was actually Drew Brooks , the head of team security for the Dolphins. He spent 20 years as an officer for the Pembroke Pines Police Department .

Brooks and Rosenhaus both came to the scene.

Was Tyreek Hill arrested? What's the difference between detainment and arrest?

Tyreek Hill was handcuffed Sunday, but he was not arrested. An arrest would mean being sent to jail and processed there. Miami-Dade police detained Hill for about 15 minutes Sunday before letting him go.
