    It’s Parade Season in Palm Springs

    Parade season is coming up in Palm Springs. Mark your calendars for these FREE special events highlighting the City’s diverse LGBTQ community, a powerful and poignant tribute to our veterans – and the ringing in of the holiday season with the spectacular annual Palm Springs Festival of Lights Parade now celebrating 32 years!

    Below is a list of the City’s beloved parades coming this fall to Palm Springs.

    Palm Springs High School Homecoming Parade, 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 23. Parade runs along Palm Canyon Drive from Baristo to Alejo Roads in downtown, featuring the Palm Springs High School Indians football team. Grand Marshal is PSUSD Superintendent Tony Signoret. This year’s theme is “Candyland.”

    38th annual Greater Palm Springs Pride Parade, Sunday, Nov. 3, 10 a.m. Parade runs along Palm Canyon Drive from Tachevah to Amado Road. Pride Festival is from Nov. 1 – 3. For more information, visit pspride.org .

    27th annual City of Palm Springs Veterans Day Parade, Monday, Nov. 11, 3:30 p.m.
    Parade runs along Palm Canyon Drive from Ramon to Alejo roads.  This year’s theme is “Honoring All Who Serve.” A patriotic concert and fireworks finale at Palm Canyon Drive and Amado Road will immediately follow. Once again, this year’s Veterans Day Parade will be broadcast live on NBC Palm Springs. For more information, psveteransday.com .

    32nd annual Palm Springs Festival of Lights Parade, Saturday, Dec. 7. Start time is 5:45 p.m.
    at Palm Canyon Drive and Ramon Road. The City’s signature holiday event features twinkling lights, magnificent marching bands, spectacular floats, huge Macy’s-style holiday floats, and Santa Claus. Community Grand Marshals are Grant Fuhr and Gino Lamont from the Coachella Valley Firebirds. The parade is broadcast live on NBC Palm Springs. For more information, visit psfestivaloflights.com .
