    Cirque Du Soleil’s First-Ever Acrobatic Performance on Ice Arrives in Palm Springs 2025

    Cirque du Soleil’s CRYSTAL – a one-of-a-kind production that brings the circus arts to the ice for the very first time – will be in Greater Palm Springs and leave audiences at the edge of their seats at the Acrisure Arena from March 28th-30th, 2025.

    With seven jaw-dropping traditional circus acts, all thrillingly adapted for Cirque du Soleil’s first foray into a brand-new creative territory – the ice – CRYSTAL takes audiences on an unforgettable journey into the vivid and whimsical world of imagination. Since 2017, CRYSTAL has dazzled more than 2 million people in over 145 cities worldwide, blending the art of skating with adrenaline-inducing acrobatics and aerial feats.

    CRYSTAL pushes the boundaries of possibility within the circus arts. The show highlights Cirque du Soleil’s creativity in a new way and encourages audiences to find the magic of the everyday. Each time you watch, there’s something new to see and experience. Cirque du Soleil is thrilled to bring CRYSTAL to Palm Springs.

    Additionally, Acrisure Arena invites fans to experience an exclusive limited-capacity backyard playground just steps away from the action on stage.     • CRYSTAL is Cirque du Soleil’s 42 nd creation and the company’s very first acrobatic experience on ice.
    • Since its creation, CRYSTAL has gone to over 145 cities and 23 different countries (and counting!).
    • CRYSTAL has now been seen by over 2 million people since 2017.
    • CRYSTAL celebrated show #1000 in Perth, Australia in September 2023.
    • This one-of-a-kind performance features seven traditional circus acts, including trapeze, hand-to-hand, Banquine, aerial straps, hand-to-trapeze, juggling, and hand balancing – all thrillingly adapted to be performed on ice!
    • It takes 18 x 55ft transport trailers to transfer CRYSTAL from city to city.
    • The entire show packs up into over 434 road cases, 160 racks and a few dozen other varieties of packing containers.
    • The show uses 28 projectors to transform the ice into a playground, hockey rink, outdoor pond, and cityscape, among other things. It also uses 36 trackers on costumes to control spotlights that follow the artists on the ice.
    • CRYSTAL is the first Cirque du Soleil production that uses real snow – the team makes approximately 300 snowballs each week.
