After a close call with tragedy, a longstanding hub of Cuban cuisine in Miami Lakes is back on its feet. Eater Miami reports that the Latin American Grill, a fixture in the area for almost thirty years, is throwing open its doors again following extensive renovations necessitated by a kitchen fire in November 2022. The blaze, which struck in the quiet hours of the night due to a fault in the fire suppression system, required the venue to close down but, thankfully, resulted in no injuries.
