A young adult and a teen face burglary and assault charges after they allegedly broke into a Palmyra home on Jan. 1, according to police.

The Western Lebanon County Regional Police Department arrested Isaiah Williamson, 18, of Hershey, and a 17-year-old female on July 3, saying they forcibly entered a residence in the 600 block of North Railroad Street and attacked the people inside on New Year's Day.

Police said that before the incident, the victim and the 17-year-old were part of an ongoing dispute on Facebook Messenger about an ex-boyfriend. The 17-year-old and another person then allegedly threatened to come to the North Railroad Street residence.

The victim pepper sprayed the 17-year-old as she tried to enter the home, according to court documents. The victim was then struck in the face by the 17-year-old and Williamson, causing bleeding wounds.

Williamson and the teen then fled the the home after other people in the house allegedly began fighting with them, police said. Five people in the North Railroad Street residence told police that the 17-year-old and Williamson forced their way inside and assaulted the victim.

"It was determined that at least one of the actors was wearing a ski mask over their face to attempt to hide their identity," police said in court documents. "A ski mask was recovered from inside the residence after the incident and it is believed to have been worn by Isaiah Williamson."

Police spoke to the 17-year-old, who confirmed that she and three friends, including Williamson, went to the residence that evening. She added that she was immediately pepper sprayed by an unidentified female and then dragged into the home and assaulted. She suffered injuries including a split inner lip and a bloody nose, according to court records.

The 17-year-old denied to police about being aggressive at any time during the incident and stated she never willingly went into the house, according to court documents.

Police spoke with Williamson in April, with court documents stating that he denied any knowledge of the incident.

Williamson and the 17-year-old female were each charged with burglary, criminal conspiracy to commit burglary, criminal trespassing, criminal conspiracy to commit criminal trespassing, simple assault, criminal conspiracy to commit simple assault, harassment and criminal conspiracy to commit harassment. Williamson also is facing a corruption of minors charge.

Williamson is being held at the Lebanon County Correctional Facility, unable to make bail set at $25,000 as of Wednesday afternoon. A preliminary hearing is scheduled before Lebanon County Magisterial District Judge David Warner Jr. at 8 a.m. July 11.
