Booze bandits steal $5,000 worth of alcohol from Ephrata store
EPHRATA - Ephrata Police Chief Erik Kock says its the most alcohol he's ever seen stolen during his time on the force. Authorities say two booze bandits managed to walk about of the Ephrata Safeway store at around 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. with two grocery carts full of alcohol unnoticed. The total worth of the alcohol tallied $5,000. External security cameras were unable to capture the getaway vehicle used to transport the loot. Spokane County affordable housing proving unaffordable for providers
