Art show fundraiser coming to Panama City Beach this week

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. ( WMBB ) – An art show that should be “popping up” on your radar is taking place on Thursday, July 18th from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Beachy Beach Real Estate in Panama City Beach.

This free community gathering will include live music, free drinks, and even a live art demo from local artist Charcoal Chad .

There will also be a charity raffle that will benefit Backpack Blessings , a non-profit that provides meals to Panama City Beach children over the weekends.

Many other local businesses and organizations came together to help put on this show.

For event organizers that is very meaningful as it shows how many people within the Bay County community are willing to donate their time and resources to a good cause.

“When people act loving and kind, it is my love language,” said Beachy Beach Real Estate Owner Karen Smith. “I am one of those weirdos that think that the whole reason we’re on this planet is to make life brighter and sweeter for others. So when I meet other people like that, I just am so full of it, it comes out of me I’m just so excited.”

Some of the artwork made by Charcoal Chad will be available to purchase during Thursday’s event.
