More showers and thunderstorms are likely tonight before 3 a.m. with a low around 77. Winds are headed northeast between 5 to 10 mph before shifting southeast in the afternoon.

The beach is currently in yellow flag conditions, indicating that ocean conditions are rough but not life threatening. Swimmers should exercise extreme caution due to potentially high surf or dangerous currents and undertows, according to the Bay County government website.

The National Hurricane Center is tracking one tropical disturbance in the Central Tropical Atlantic . The disturbance has a 20% chance of development in the next seven days. The NHC says conditions are favorable for some slow development of this system this weekend as it moves westward to west-northwest ward at 10 to 15 mph.

Multiple beaches are currently under a recreational water quality advisory . Check the Florida Department of Health website to see which areas are affected.
