JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT/TBP) – Jonesboro had a decrease in sales and use tax collections in June after seeing an uptick during May. According to records, the city collected $2.1 million in June, a 6.4%, or $143,000, drop compared to the same month in 2023, content partner Talk Business and Politics reported. In May, the city collected $2.2 million, a 5.5%, or $118,000, increase compared to last year.
