Alliance police bring new surveillance camera to community
The Alliance Police Department has taken delivery of new, solar powered mobile surveillance unit from WCCTV, based in Dallas, Texas. After seeking bids from three companies, APD found that WCCTV offered the best combination of features, customer service and warranty. This unit was purchased with grant funds from the Rural Violent Crime Reduction Initiative at no cost to taxpayers.

Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen has recently announced a special session of the Nebraska Legislature with the challenge to reduce property taxes. The Governor had campaigned on the goal of eliminating or shifting a total of 40% of the state’s tax burden away from property taxes.
