APD: Missing Alliance woman found
We are incredibly relieved to share that Patricia Eichhorn, who was reported missing on May 28, 2024, has been found safe. She was located dehydrated but otherwise in good health and is currently receiving the medical care she needs. We expect her to make a full recovery. Bighorn sheep lottery applications begin April 15
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission will accept applications for one 2024 bighorn sheep lottery permit beginning April 15. A $29 nonrefundable application fee must accompany each application. Truck Driver Pulled Over In Lexington Sentenced to 29 Years
United States Attorney Susan Lehr announced that David Mark Platt, 58, formerly of Washington state, was sentenced on May 28, 2024, in federal court in Lincoln, Nebraska, for one count of transporting a minor to engage in illegal sexual activity. Senior United States District Judge John M. Gerrard sentenced Platt to 348 months (29 years) imprisonment. There is no parole in the federal system. He was further sentenced to a lifetime of supervised release following his release from prison. Additionally, Platt was ordered to pay $29,000 in restitution.
