Nebraska teacher arrested for inappropriate relationship with student
NORFOLK, NEB. — A Madison Public Schools teacher has been arrested following an investigation by the Nebraska State Patrol into inappropriate contact with a student. Last week, State Patrol investigators received information regarding an allegation of an inappropriate relationship between a teacher and student at Madison High School, in Madison. Following an investigation, an arrest warrant was issued Monday, May 20, for Nixel Ortiz, 29, of Madison. The arrest warrant was for a charge of sexual abuse by a school employee.
