Spring soon will turn to summer. Get outdoors and spend some time in Nebraska’s state parks this May. A variety of events are planned for those for all ages and interests. Don’t forget to purchase a vehicle park entry permit to enter the state parks. Get one at OutdoorNebraska.gov or at state park entrances.
Man who was stabbed in the Panhandle arrested for Wyoming warrant
Kimball, Neb - On April 18, 2024 the Kimball County Sheriff’s Office responded to Kimball Health Services in reference to a stab wound. Upon further investigation, it was determined that Michael Hammond Jr was wanted out of Campbell County, Wyoming on numerous charges. It was determined the stab wound had occurred in Campbell County, Wyoming. Kimball County Sheriff’s Office worked with Wyoming DCI. Hammond was then transported to Regional West Medical Center for treatment.
