IHOP Adds 2 New Menu Items That Will Delight Oreo Lovers

If you're one of the many devoted IHOP fans who's been looking forward to the August 2024 Pancake of the Month drop, the big day is finally here—and Oreo lovers are in luck.

Billed as a "refreshing summer treat," the Lemon Oreo pancake stack features four buttermilk pancakes filled and topped with bits of Lemon Oreo cookies, cheesecake mousse, and whipped topping.

But that's not all: The truly Oreo-obsessed can pair their pancakes with a Lemon Oreo milkshake, made by blending the cookies with vanilla ice cream.

As Parade previously reported, fans commenting on Snackolator 's preview of the new pancake flavor had mixed feelings.

While some thought the pancakes sounded "delicious" and were on board to try "lemon anything," others were less impressed.

“Can’t decide if the creator needs Hell or prison time,” wrote one commenter.

“ive never been more confused in my life. like am i repulsed or am i enticed?” wondered another person.

While also fruit-flavored, IHOP's July Pancake of the Month was a more traditional breakfast. The Fresh Red, White & Blueberry pancakes took inspiration from the American flag and included strawberries, blueberries and whipped cream. Like the Lemon Oreo pancakes, June's special flavor—Orange Cream—incorporated citrus fruit, once again dividing fans.

“Hmm ima pass on that one lol,” wrote one Instagram user, though another who appeared to have tried the pancakes already called them "delicious."

The Lemon Oreo pancakes will be available through the end of August for $14.99. Also on the menu is the "Pancake of the Month Combo," which includes two Lemon Oreo pancakes served with two eggs and two strips of bacon or sausage links or $18.49.
