After three Taylor Swift concerts were canceled in Vienna this weekend, fans have been wondering if the show will go on for the next stop on the Eras Tour: London, England.

On Wednesday, Aug. 7, it was announced that Swift's entire three-night run in the Austrian capital was being canceled as a result of a potential terror threat. Two teenage suspects, believed to be inspired by the Islamic State group (ISIS) and al-Qaida , were arrested in connection with a "foiled plot" to carry out a terror attack near the concert venue using knives and/or homemade explosives.

But despite the alarming situation in Vienna , the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan said the singer's five shows scheduled at Wembley Stadium are still expected to go on as planned.

In a press conference on Thursday, Aug. 8, Khan said, "I'm sure Vienna has got its own reasons to cancel the Taylor Swift concerts, we're going to carry on, working closely with police insuring that the Taylor Swift concerts can take place in London safely," per The Mirror .

According to the mayor's announcement, Swift, 34, is still set to play five shows at Wembley beginning next week on Thurs. Aug. 15, and closing with the final show of the tour's European leg on Tuesday, Aug. 20.

Also during the press conference, Khan insisted that the English capital is more than capable of keeping fans safe with tight security at the upcoming shows, especially after learning from the 2017 Manchester Arena attack , a terrorist bombing that killed 22 people after an Ariana Grande concert.

"We have a huge amount of experience in policing these events, we’re never complacent, many lessons were learned after the awful Manchester Arena attack," Khan said on Thursday. "The police work closely, not just with City Hall, but with councils, but also with those who host concerts, like the Taylor Swift concert coming up over the next couple of weeks."

Swift has yet to publicly speak out about the situation in Vienna, but her website has been updated to reflect that fans with tickets to this weekend's canceled shows will be receiving full refunds over the next ten business days.

You had more security, than anybody else there and you ran! Your fans were left crying in the streets! Your fans didn’t run but 🫵 did. Funny how you did the same thing in Australia with your dad. How disposable they’re to 🫵
