It's always cause for excitement when a popular brand announces some new spin on a product everybody already loves (we're looking at you and your endless assortment of limited-edition flavors, Oreo ). Now Lay's is expanding its roster of flavors, and the salty snack aisle just got a lot more interesting.
On Thursday, Aug. 8, food blogger Markie Devo revealed a trio of new flavors inspired by Lay's international markets on Instagram, along with details about a special contest the company is holding to promote the savory treats.
"With flavors like these, who needs regular food," Markie Devo joked in the accompanying caption.
The three new options include Lay's Wavy Tzatziki , said to be "inspired by the refreshing Greek flavors of yogurt, lemon, dill, garlic and other unique elements," Lay's Masala, described as "a delectable fusion of spices including cumin, coriander, turmeric and pepper," and Lay's Honey Butter , which has been dubbed "a delicious blend of buttermilk honey and butter tastes, transporting consumers to the home of this beloved combo, Korea."

Social media users seemed pretty pumped about all three varieties, but many were especially enthusiastic about the Tzatziki flavor.
"I’m in for the tzatziki allllllll dayyyyyy long! I’ve had the honey butter found at international market a couple years back," wrote one Instagram user.
"I'm glad they're bringing back the tzatziki flavor. That one was my favorite," agreed a second person.
"I want masala for sure and maybe tzatziki," wrote a third person.
Lay's Wavy Tzatziki and Lay's Honey Butter have already been spotted on store shelves, but all three flavors will now be available nationwide.
But wait, there's more! As the influencer noted, Lay's is also giving "one lucky fan and their guest the chance to win a trip to one of the flavor origin countries, either India, Korea or Greece.
