Nick Cannon Shares Bold Confession About Ex Mariah Carey

Just because eight years have passed since Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey divorced doesn't mean their love story is over—at least, not as far as one half of the famous former couple is concerned.

In a recent interview with E! News , Cannon admitted that he still has feelings for his ex-wife, even though he doesn't think Carey is on the same page.

“We belong together,” Cannon revealed, adding that he would be interested in reuniting with the singer if he had the opportunity.

“Yes, absolutely. [I'd] Be stupid if I wouldn’t," Cannon said.

Unfortunately, Cannon also had a pretty solid reason for why the pair most likely won't be getting back together.

“She don’t want me,” the We Playin' Spades host said.

“Yeah, you done left and had like 10 kids," joked his cohost Courtney Bee , and Cannon had to agree.

“A whole baseball team,” he said. “Like, ‘No, you can't come back home.’”

In addition to the 13-year-old twins he shares with Carey ( Moroccan and Monroe ), Cannon has 10 children with five other women: Brittany Bell , Abby De La Rosa , Bre Tiesi , LaNisha Cole and Alyssa Scott .

Thankfully, all of the moms get along "amazing," according to Cannon.

“But that's the thing, I don't expect them to,” the 43-year-old said. “I think that's the thing that people might always think that it would be that. But it's like everybody lives their own life, before me and after me.”

“So I think that's how you keep the peace and everybody moving, like everybody worried about themselves and not worried about what someone else is. As long as the kids are happy and they have the strongest understanding, I think that's what makes sense. You gotta operate out of that,” he added.

Cannon also expressed sadness at how quickly his twins with Carey are growing up.

“We gonna be done soon,” he said. “We got teenagers now. I'm about to shed a tear. It's happening too fast.”
