Fruit and dessert go together like two peas in a pod. There’s nothing better than that first succulent bite of a chocolate covered strawberry or the rich taste of a freshly baked apple pie . Brownies , cheesecakes , ice cream sundaes, cobblers and crumbles alike are all capable of elevation with the simple addition of fresh fruit.

As we navigate our way through the final weeks of summer, there’s still plenty of time to enjoy our favorite seasonal treats before we dive straight into the pumpkin spice-filled world known as fall. Bakeries everywhere have been dulling out their best summer-worthy treats, and Sam’s Club is right up there with the best of them. So much so that their recent bakery release has fans excited for more.

Member’s Mark Fresh Fruit Tarts recently hit the Sam’s Club bakery, and there’s a lot to love about this seasonal offering. With the release of a new zingy, tangy and flavorful treat, it seems as though the neighborhood bulk retailer is attempting to close out the season with a bang. Customers can find a 6-count container for $12.98 and likely find themselves heading back for seconds or thirds.

Each tart features a crust made with sugar, salt and butter. Each one is then topped with rich cream cheese, a hearty helping of blueberries, one large strawberry and a nice little dollop of whipped cream to wrap it all up. Save one for each day of the work week or devour the whole carton in one sitting; the choice is up to you how you enjoy the sweet and tangy treat.

As is the case for most of these seasonal offerings, these tasty little fruit tarts are likely to only be around momentarily. Especially as berries begin to go out of season, now might be your last chance to enjoy the best that the season has to offer before we completely transform our cravings for the fall season. Snag carton today and enjoy the enjoyable combination of sweet and tart today.
