Reese Witherspoon Makes Rare Red Carpet Appearance With Grown Lookalike Son and Daughter

Reese Witherspoon brought two of her favorite dates to the premiere of Blink Twice on Thursday, August 8—her son and daughter.

The 48-year-old actress was joined by her 24-year-old daughter, Ava Phillippe , and 20-year-old son, Deacon Phillippe , at the movie's Los Angeles debut, where the trio posed for a few, rare, family photos together.

Witherspoon wore a black pantsuit, while Deacon opted for a more casual look in a dark blue polo shirt and sneakers. Ava, who recently dyed her blonde hair a warm brunette shade, paired sparkly black shorts with a white button-down shirt.

Witherspoon was also photographed alongside her Big Little Lies co-stars, Zoë Kravitz and Laura Dern , as well as Alicia Keys . Blink Twice is Kravitz's first film as a director.

Blink Twice stars Kravitz's fiancé, Channing Tatum , as a mysterious tech billionaire who invited Naomi Ackie's character Frida on a wild getaway to a private island, where strange happenings lead the cocktail waitress to question her reality, according to IMDb .

This isn't the first time Witherspoon has attended an event with one of her kids. Deacon, who made his own acting debut in the TV series Never Have I Ever , walked the red carpet with his mom at the 2024 Golden Globes , while Ava accompanied Witherspoon to the Critics Choice Awards a week later.

The Legally Blonde star, who shares Deacon and Ava with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe , is also mom to Tennessee James Toth , 11, whom she shares with ex-husband Jim Toth . Witherspoon and Toth divorced in 2023.

According to Us Weekly , Witherspoon, Kravitz, Dern, Nicole Kidman and Shailene Woodley are expected to team up for a third season of Big Little Lies.
