Kevin Bacon Delights Fans With Series of Throwback Photos 'Throughout the Years': 'Absolutely Adorable'

Kevin Bacon has had several different hairstyles throughout his life but one fact remains the same: he's always been a heartthrob.

The legendary film star recently took his social media followers down memory lane by sharing a series of throwback photos and reflecting on some of his different hairstyles from over the years.

Bacon, now 66, started his latest Instagram post with a snap that was taken around the time of filming for the 1990 film Flatliners , when he was rocking long, disheveled hair for an overall more rugged image.

The next photo, a black and white shot, was from when Bacon was much younger and looked to be some sort of school portrait. His hair was neatly brushed in that pic, but he still had his signature wispy locks, even back then.

The following snap—and perhaps the favorite among his fans—was from Bacon's iconic Footloose era, when he famously wore his hair in a spiky, voluminous style for the classic 1984 dance film. (He, of course, was also sporting one of the bowties his character Ren McCormack is known for.)

The final photo appeared to be from Bacon's days on the 2005 movie Beauty Shop , when he was sporting long, wavy locks highlighted with beach blond streaks.

In his caption, Bacon wrote, "I’ve gone through a few hairstyles throughout the years… which is your favorite?" and his fans were quick to share their thoughts in the comments.

One person said the look from the Flatliners was a "classic favorite" from Bacon's hair journey, but other users said they liked his "sexy surfer" look in the Beauty Shop frame.

However, an overwhelming amount of fans said that Bacon's Footloose days were his best "hands down."

"It's genuinely hard to beat Footloose era!!!! 🔥" one user wrote under the post.

"Ren McCormack forever! 🕺" another fan commented.

Others said they prefer Bacon's hair just as it is now, including one commenter who said their favorite of the actor's hairstyles is "the salt and pepper one you are currently sporting 😉💙."

"All of them! You look good in any of them!!" someone else wrote to the actor.
