If you are gearing up for some late-summer road trips, or if you're ready to pop into Starbucks for a new fall-themed drink, you already know that the average frappuccino is going to run you between $4-$6. After a while, that adds up. You can also go to a gas station or a convenience store and grab a cheaper coffee , but that option doesn't always satisfy our craving.

Thankfully, content creator @LORAfied just shared a frappucino trick that we needed to see. It's so clever and it's going to save us (and you) a lot of money while we get our coffee fix. Bonus: It's really fun.

"Have you noticed how crazy expensive blended coffee drinks are these days?" Lora asks in the caption of her Instagram video. We have, and that's why this tip is what we all need right now. Lora says that this "freeway frappucino" costs just $2 and we can't wait to make one. This is perfect for when you're road-tripping with friends, stuck in rush-hour traffic or running late to drop off your kids at school.

"The secret: this cordless blender that fits in your car cup holder!" she says in the caption. Wait- what??? A portable blender is a game changer!

"You can blend all kinds of things with this little guy and it’s dishwasher safe!" Lora adds. Who doesn't love that? It's a Ninja brand blender, too, so you know it's good quality.

Lora says that a Venti Frappe at her local Starbucks costs $6.75, but 7-Eleven has iced mochas for just $2. Lora says they taste just like the frappes at Starbucks.

She gets her $2 iced mocha at the gas station, then takes it to the portable blender in her car and blends the drink and ice together. It comes out creamy and perfect! Lora then just pops open the lid and inserts a straw to drink the frappe as she drives.

This is brilliant and we have to grab one of these blenders now!

"If you’re looking to get extra protein in your diet, this little guy is also perfect for making a smoothie on the road," Lora added in the caption. That would be great for those days when you don't have time to stop for a meal. You can blend one on the go to keep yourself going all day!
